A popular playgroup operates at our Sandon Road site Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri, 9.30 – 11.00 am.
Tuesday is Different – An informal support group for parents or carers with young children. Meets weekly during term time on a Tuesday 10.00 – 11.30. Toys, activities, crafts. Refreshments for children & carers and you can stay and have lunch afterwards if you wish.
Twins Club – Tuesday afternoons 1.30 – 3.30pm, to support parents and children. Large safe play area provided, with different toys and play equipment each week.
Boys' and Girls’ Brigade – This is a Christian uniformed organisation open to boys aged 5 to 18, and girls aged 5 to 14, meeting weekly during term time in the church hall from 6.30 pm on Tuesdays (Boys) and Wednesdays (Girls). Young people belonging to the Brigades can join the Band, a uniformed marching band which meets to practice on Monday evenings from 6.15 pm, enters competitions and plays at summer fetes and other town events.
