The Beacon Friendship Group is a friendly group of retired, or semi-retired people, who meet every Monday at 10.30 am in the Beacon Bistro for a programme of discussions, activities and occasional outings. It’s an opportunity to meet people from the local community and make new friends. Lunch is served from 11.45 am onwards.
Regenerate Tuesdays & Thursdays 9.30-3.00 pm at the Beacon We are working in partnership with Social Services to provide day care and activities for socially isolated members of the local community. Lunch and refreshments are provided.
Attendance is mostly through referral from Social Services but some limited places available for local community residents. These must be booked in advance. Contact the Beacon for more information.
