Welcome to the website of Sandon Road Baptist Church & the Beacon International Centre. We are a church with two sites, and one heart.
We are a local community church with a mix of people of all ages, backgrounds and culture, who all share one thing in common: We believe Jesus to be central to all we do, and we try by our lives and through our praise, worship and teaching to make Him known to all. We are part of the wider family of Christian Churches in Stafford Some years ago, people who attend the church in Sandon Road had a vision to establish a centre on Staffordshire Technology Park. The Beacon International Centre opened in July 2006 and now houses a Bistro and coffee bar, conference facilities with in-house catering and a cash machine.
Both sites offer a range of midweek activities, from coffee mornings or lunch in the Bistro, to young people’s clubs, groups for older people and courses, such as the Alpha Course. On Sundays we meet at both venues : the Beacon International Centre at 8.30 and 10.30 am and Sandon Road at 6.30 pm.
The Beacon International Centre is available to hire midweek or evenings for meetings, conferences & wedding receptions.
